This year, we are excited to partner with Cole Arts & Science Academy. Cole is a great school in the heart of the city. According to public records, 600 of the 624 students that attend Cole qualified for free (570) or discounted (30) lunches.At COLE each and every child, as a learner of worth and dignity, will achieve stellar academic success in math, science, and humanities through developed communication skills, artistic creativity, scientific inquiry, and advanced technology.
This fall lets send each Kindergartner, 1st Grader and 2nd Grader back to school with dignity. Most families at Cole struggle to purchase the necessary supplies for their students. This year baseball for backpacks will send each child to school with a new backpack and lots of new supplies, which will provide a bit of dignity, to get them off to a good start.
In addition, baseballforbackpacks will take the entire 8th grade class to a baseball game to celebrate their final year at Cole on September 10th.
How can you help? Purchase a backpack and school supplies by completing the form on the left. For $12 we will be able to purchase a new backpack and all of the necessary supplies. Additionally, you can also purchase a baseball ticket and snack for an 8th grader for only $7.
